Job Opportunity At North Davidson Veterinary Hospital

North Davidson Veterinary Hospital located in the Lexington / Welcome area has dedicated for forty plus years serving our clients and their pet family members. We are adding experienced staff and looking for the right individuals to demonstrate compassion and care for all animals, while effectively communicating with our doctors and team members.

The team member must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekend and holiday rotation. Candidates must possess the ability to multi-task and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate must be able to easily lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Answering multi-line phones.
• Filing charts.
• Entering patient history into the computer system.
• Able to work cash register and credit card system.
• Preparing and labeling medications and prescriptions.
• Works well with co-workers and the public.
• Hospital cleaning duties.

This is a fast paced environment which requires the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Previous experience in an animal related field is desirable. Must be able to pass background check and drug screen prior to employment.
