What You’ll DoAs a Veterinary Assistant at PetWellClinic Green Brook, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the health and happiness of our furry patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations and treatments.
- Handling and restraining animals with care and compassion.
- Preparing exam rooms and equipment for procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment.
- Educating pet owners on general animal care and wellness.
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks as needed.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a veterinary or animal care setting.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with pet owners and team members.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
