What you will do- Lead with safety: follow every requirement, wear PPE, and look out for the team.
- Execute preventive maintenance and facility work orders; perform reliable, high-quality equipment repairs.
- Meet daily work order and project targets as production needs shift.
- Manage replenishment of parts, tools, and consumables.
- Fabricate jigs, assists, and templates; build components per blueprints and shop drawings.
- Perform daily machine walk-throughs; review prior discrepancies; communicate status and issues across shifts.
- Complete bench work (rebuilds, cleaning, operational checks, upgrades).
- Service pumps, compressors, and piping systems; troubleshoot basic electrical with schematics and a DMM.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance peers; align with the Shift Manager.
- Support seasonal maintenance and facility equipment during non-standard hours.
- Flex across departments as needed; train others on fundamentals as your skills advance.
Maintenance Supervisor; day-to-day guidance may come from a senior technician designated by the Supervisor.
What you bring- 112years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Professional documentation and communication skills (clear memos/emails; accurate, understandable work notes).
- Strong basic math, including fractions and conversions.
- Facility repair know-how (painting, drywall, plumbing).
- Electrical troubleshooting fundamentals; read schematics/wiring diagrams; DMM proficiency.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
- Able to read blueprints and reference drawings.
- Resilient and adaptable in changing priorities.
- LEAN familiarity: 5S, Kanban, one-piece flow, and CI basics.
- Comfort following OEM manuals for diagnostics and repair.
- Welding, milling, and lathe skills.
- Safe use of nail guns, panel saws, miter saws, and similar tools.
- Tape measure literacy and fractional math.
- Accurate completion of In-Process Inspections and related paperwork.
- Safe operation of pallet jacks, lift trucks, jib/gantry cranes, and a man lift.
- Comprehensive understanding of task-related safety requirements.
- Computer skills to locate instructions and forms on the LAN/other databases.

Work can be done at ground level, in confined space, or at elevations. Exposures include elevated noise levels associated with a manufacturing environment, fluctuations in temperature ambient conditions as well as intermittent exposure to the weather in and about the yard and dock areas.Working hours can include any of three shifts and generally are scheduled for forty hours a week. Some weekend overtime is to be expected.
