Description

The Customer Care Representative role is responsible for responding to customer inquiries and requests while maintaining the highest level of customer service and confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide strong customer service while listening and eliciting information efficiently to resolve customer issues.

Recognize when to leverage resources to resolve customer issues and/or concerns.

Process customer transactions including but not limited to funds transfer, loan payments and check orders.

Assist customers with account, online banking, BillPay and debit card inquiries.

Maintenance account changes, or as necessary, closures are warranted.

Maintain knowledge of bank products and services.

Provide support for Deposit Operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally at both written and verbal levels.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and high degree of accuracy.

Microsoft Office, or equivalent, knowledge.

Ability to operate a multi-line phone system.

Requirements

• One year customer service experience.
• Previous banking experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
