Supply Chain Management AnalystCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) to support our Flight Test Supply Chain team located in Seattle, Washington on first shift.Position Responsibilities:Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutionsApplies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chainAnalyzes complex material requirementsVerifies and incorporates Bills of Mater/schedules into a production planInitiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability and ensures on-time deliveryDocuments and resolves order delinquencies. Reports schedule adherence issuesOptimizes inventory levelsAnalyzes and dispositions excess inventories. Initiates auditsDevelops and creates schedules for products and servicesAssists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposalsImplements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performanceWorks under general directionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience in supply chain work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)5+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data & presenting analysis / recommendations to management1+ years of experience interpreting Bill of MaterialsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher5+ years of experience with CMES system (or equivalent non-conformance management system)5+ years of experience in managing projects5+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production manufacturing environmentExperience working independently with minimal supervisionProficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
