Mammography Technologist

Job Overview Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our breast imaging team at our Riverside Women's Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8AM - 4:30PM. Responsibilities Prioritize work to achieve optimal patient outcomes Uses appropriate communicaiton skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures Adheres to radiologic diagnostic testing procedures Documents compliance with regulatory agency requirement Follows infection control guidelines Adheres to safety protocols Ensures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocols Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members Responds appropriately to emergent situations Evaluates imagine results fod diagnostic quality Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution Demonstrating ability to provide care of service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural difference of the population served Required Qualifications Digital mammography experience ARRT (R) (M) Minimum of 1 year of related experience in general diagnostic breast imaging Minimum of 1 year of experience working with patients in a capacity including frequent interactions and understanding age-life cycle need Benefit Overview Fairview offers a generous benefit package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
