Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings and develop tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with a team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, discharge processes, and exercise regimens to promote recovery
• Accurately document treatment plans, evaluations, and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary care team rounds and conferences to facilitate coordinated and comprehensive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a related accredited degree

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred certification in CPR
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are welcome but not mandatory
