In the role of Sachbearbeiter / Claims Manager for the settlement of building damages in commercial real estate, you will:

• Process and evaluate damage cases in the area of commercial real estate
• Communicate with experts, construction companies, and insurers
• Coordinate and manage damage settlement processes, including deadline control and documentation
• Examine insurance coverages and contractual claims in connection with damage cases
• Demonstrate empathetic and confident negotiation skills in dealing with claimants and all parties involved in the damage
• Calculate and monitor damage reserves
• Examine subrogation claims

After a structured onboarding, you will quickly take over the independent processing of your cases. You can always count on the support of our experienced colleagues we work closely together and help each other.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has completed a training as a commercial clerk for insurance and financial services or a comparable qualification
• Has several years of practical experience in claims processing at an insurer or claims processing office
• Has experience in the settlement of property damage in commercial real estate
• Has knowledge of all-risk policies
• Enjoys working independently
• Is comfortable using Microsoft and everyday software
• Is communicative and has negotiation skills when dealing with different parties
• Is interested in shaping the digital change in claims processing
• Has very good German language skills in writing and speaking, English skills facilitate your work, but are not required
