Position Type: Full Time Must be 21+ years old - Weekly Pay Walk / stand long periods of time Pay Rate: $22.72 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM; Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM; Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or badges, and support visitor and vehicle screening procedures in accordance with site protocols for a controlled location. Assist with investigations, escorts, and/or special assignments involving restricted areas, sensitive materials, or high-value assets while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Minimum Requirements Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
