Overview Vindex Privatus, PLLC — a modern, specialized consumer-protection and plaintiff's litigation firm in Coral Gables, FL — is hiring an Associate Attorney to join a small, fast-moving team and take ownership of day-to-day case management. We handle FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, and FCCPA consumer-protection cases, premises liability, personal injury, insurance bad faith, aviation torts, and general civil litigation. We also maintain a wealth-protection practice (estate planning, LLC formation, contracts) and a life-transitions practice (family, immigration, landlord-tenant).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence under your own signature Coordinate directly with our paralegal — assign work, review output, keep the team moving as we continue to grow Track deadlines across state court, federal court, and appellate court calendars Appear at motion hearings, case management conferences, and mediations Manage day-to-day client communications on case status Work directly with the managing attorney on strategy for complex matters

REQUIREMENTS

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Admitted to the Florida Bar — OR sitting for the 2025/2026 Florida Bar (we will hire qualified applicants as law clerks and convert to associate upon bar admission) Working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Strong legal writing and research skills Good with computers and comfortable working in a modern, technology-integrated legal environment Ability to coordinate with paralegal staff and support the team as it grows Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple matters simultaneously

PREFERRED

Prior exposure to consumer-protection law, premises liability, or insurance bad faith Internship or clerkship at a plaintiff's firm, legal aid, or small/mid-size firm Bilingual (Spanish or Mandarin a plus)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Base salary of $65,000 (FL Bar admitted) Contingency bonus: 2% of net firm recovery on cases you actively litigate — typically adds $10,000–$18,000 per year based on 2025 recoveries Law-clerk track for bar-pending candidates: $30/hour, with automatic conversion to the associate track (base + bonus) upon Florida Bar admission — no re-interview Health, dental, and vision insurance (employer covers 80% of employee premium) Paid time off Florida Bar dues and annual CLE reimbursement Remote-first work arrangement (virtual office available when needed) Real mentorship, significant responsibility, and a clear path to senior associate and partnership
