SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER
An established multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Land Development Engineer to lead and grow an existing civil engineering team in the Raleigh market. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil engineering professional with strong leadership, client management, and business development skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a civil engineering land development team
- Oversee site development design and construction document preparation
- Manage projects including:
- Commercial developments
- Residential and multifamily projects
- Industrial facilities
- Mixed-use developments
- Educational and public facility projects
- Provide technical oversight for:
- Site layout and grading
- Storm drainage and stormwater management
- Utility design (water/sewer)
- Roadway and traffic control plans
- Sediment and erosion control
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- North Carolina PE preferred
- Reciprocity accepted for out-of-state candidates
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering and land development
- Strong background in:
- Site planning
- Grading design
- Infrastructure and utility design
- Construction documentation
