Job Description Locums | Pediatric Anesthesiology | No Call | Dayton, OH Why This Role Maternity leave coverage at a high-volume Level I pediatric trauma center Predictable weekday schedule with no call requirements Broad pediatric-to-adult case mix within a collaborative anesthesia team Assignment Details Start Date: 8/10/2026 End Date: 11/16/2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00a–3:30p Coverage Type: No call Practice Setting: Hospital-based operating rooms Reason for Coverage: Maternity leave Clinical Details Case Volume: Approximately 50–60 surgical cases per day Patient Population: Neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and adult Supervision Model: Mix of solo cases and CRNA supervision in a care team model Anesthesia Cart Preparation: Not required Trauma Level: ACS Level I Operating Rooms: 14 Anesthesia Team Size: 22 anesthesiologists Annual ED Volume: Approximately 70,000 Pediatric anesthesiology across all subspecialties except cardiac and transplant surgery General surgical cases (neonatal, pediatric, adult) Thoracic cases (excluding open heart) Complex orthopedic cases Neurosurgical cases Ventilation management Preferred experience with arterial line placement and acute volume/BP management Requirements Board certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology BLS, ACLS, and PALS required Active Ohio medical license highly preferred Self-query NPDB report required at presentation (pulled within the same month) Must meet facility rate requirements Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursedaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
