Community Veterinarian Salary Range: $143,000.00 To $143,000.00 Annually Schedule Full Time - 40-hour work week, 4 days, flex or fixed. Part Time or intermittent work considered. Required Qualifications Licensure in NYS to practice veterinary medicine. DEA eligible. Internship or 3 years of previous clinical experience in Urgent Care with a demonstrated competency in advanced soft tissue surgery. Strong surgical and diagnostic skills. Can confidently work alone. Fear Free certification desired or must be completed in the first 30 days of employment. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Equally good in dealing with animals AND people. Good written and oral communication skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, able to multi-task and prioritize. Dependable, reliable, and efficient. Contributes positively to create a culture of comradery and cohesion. Responsibilities Successfully mitigate a variety of medical and surgical cases with varying levels of acuity. Develop trusting relationships with clients which includes clear and compassionate communications. Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and prudent use of resources to maximize the number of animals serve. Delegate responsibilities to our competent para-professional staff. Learn, teach, mentor.
