Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Langley Air Force Base – Hampton, VAMDPerm is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health services at the 633rd Medical Group, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. This position supports active-duty service members and beneficiaries within the Operational Health Clinic supporting the Behavioral Health Optimization Program (BHOP) within primary care settings. The LCSW will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual counseling, crisis intervention, risk assessments, and multidisciplinary consultation while working alongside military and civilian healthcare professionals in a fast-paced military treatment facility.Minimum QualificationsMaster of Social Work (MSW) degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited programLicensureCurrent, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of ColumbiaMust be in good standing with all licensing boards where licensed within the last 10 yearsCertificationsCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red CrossExperienceMinimum two years post-master's experienceRecent clinical experience providing behavioral health servicesExperience conducting behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and crisis interventionExperience working within integrated primary care or Behavioral Health Optimization Programs (BHOP) preferredAdditional RequirementsAbility to obtain and maintain required Government security clearance/background investigationKey ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychosocial and behavioral health assessmentsDiagnose and treat behavioral health conditions within the scope of practiceDevelop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based interventionsDeliver individual, family, and brief solution-focused counseling servicesConduct suicide risk assessments and safety planningProvide crisis intervention and emergency behavioral health evaluationsDocument patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner within MHS GENESIS and other military electronic health record systemsCollaborate with physicians, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient careSupport the Air Force Integrated Behavioral Health Care (IBHC) model when assigned as a BHOP providerPerform walk-in behavioral health assessments and same-day risk evaluations when requiredMaintain compliance with Joint Commission standards, DHA policies, HIPAA requirements, and military treatment facility regulationsSchedule & HoursFull-Time PositionMonday – Friday; 40hrs per weekOn-call approximately one week per quarter (Friday to Friday) paidThe 633rd Medical Group at Langley Air Force Base provides comprehensive healthcare services to active-duty service members, retirees, and eligible beneficiaries.
