Overview
Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech - Cardiac Sonography specialty is available for a travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The start date is 09/14/2026 for a 16-week assignment in a hospital setting. The role requires a 10-hour day schedule (4x10), with weekly pay ranging from $2,090 to $2,173. Responsibilities
- Perform and document diagnostic ultrasound studies with a focus on cardiac echocardiography, in adult patient populations.
- Acquire, optimize, and interpret ultrasound images, measurements, and Doppler data; ensure image quality and patient safety.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, adhere to established protocols, and coordinate with ordering physicians and interpreting cardiologists.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain thorough documentation in patient records; assist with equipment maintenance and infection control.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support timely clinical decisions and patient care.

Requirements
- Certification: Appropriate credential in echocardiography (RDCS from ARDMS; or RCS/RCCS from CCI; or ACS from CCI). Additional credentials such as RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), or RS (ARRT) are desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty (cardiac sonography/echo).
- BLS certification required.
- Licensure: Active echocardiography credential and ability to work in the United States.
- Work setting: Ability to perform duties in a hospital-based environment and adhere to shift requirements.
- Eligibility: No local candidates within 50 miles, per assignment specifications.
