Overview Job Description: R10093417 CDL A Driver Hazmat (Open). Location: Huger (Berkeley), SC (AMG) - Bulk cryo logistics. Responsibilities Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites, usually long distances, in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs and address as required. Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to the supervisor and include service interruptions immediately. Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and Airgas company policy. Drive tractor-trailer to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs. Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately. Complete required DOT and company reports. Required Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age 3+ years of experience as driver of tractor-trailer vehicles Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED; two years technical college or military technical experience Three (3) years of Haz-Mat or Tanker experience (preferred) Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases (preferred) Benefits Airgas offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your whole life, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance.
