Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily Embrex (in-ovo vaccination) operations
• Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for all Embrex equipment
• Accurately mix vaccines according to company and manufacturer guidelines
• Monitor machine performance and address basic troubleshooting needs
• Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area and equipment
• Conduct daily team huddles to communicate goals, expectations, and safety reminders
• Assign tasks and ensure team coverage throughout the shift
• Support and enforce company policies, including My Brother's Keeper (MBK) and other safety initiatives
• Maintain production and vaccination accuracy records using basic computer systems
• Support hatchery production flow and assist in other duties as assigned by management

• Provide clear direction and support to a team of up to 10 employees
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety
• Lead by example in work ethic, attitude, and compliance
• Address performance concerns in a professional and constructive manner
• Ensure open communication between team members and leadership

Minimum Requirements

• Basic computer skills (data entry, system navigation)
• General math and writing skills
• Ability to reach, lift, and work in a physically active environment
• This includes but is not limited to:
• Bending and twisting motions
• Repetitive reaching and lifting of a maximum of 40 lbs.
• Requires constant standing and walking
• Ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage a team

Schedule

• Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• Hours: 5:00 PM 3:00 AM
• Note: Shift may run longer or shorter based on production needs
