Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Join Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Grapevine as a Registered Nurse in our fast‑paced Emergency Department unit. Overview Shift: Full‑time, 10am-10pm. Patient ratios 1:4. Beds: 29 plus hallway beds. Level II Trauma Center; Primary Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, and more. Patient population includes all ages, acuities, stages of life and types. Responsibilities Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs. Create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Build therapeutic relationships, communicate professionally and empathetically. Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members, assessing learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues and community to develop care plans, delegate tasks, and follow up. Use critical thinking to solve problems and ensure safety, effectiveness, and efficiency. Participate in teamwork, mentor colleagues, and contribute to community service. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support certification (or obtain within 30 days).
