Our client develops, manufactures, markets, distributes, and sells orthopedic implant devices, related surgical instrumentation, and biologic services. Many of the roles are temp to hire with our client. All of their buildings are air-conditioned and a comfortable work environment. 

Job Summary

Th e Maintenance Assistant supports the maintenance team in ensuring equipment is delivered on time and operates efficiently to meet operational demands. This role focuses on assisting with basic maintenance tasks, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to overall asset utilization and performance.

Job Description

• Receive, organize, store, and issue parts and materials.
• Support maintenance personnel by ensuring required parts and inventory are available.
  
• Perform inventory management and inventory control activities.
  
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  
• Complete data entry and inventory transactions within company systems.
  
• Verify incoming shipments and process materials appropriately.
  
• Track and document material movements and inventory records.
  
• Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping standards.
  
• Support parts control and materials management processes.
  
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment after certification and training.
  
• Assist with warehouse and stores operations as assigned.
• Shift: 1st Shif t - M-F 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, extended hours and rotational weekend coverage required

Skills Required

• 2 year s minimum of experience in a similar environment
• SAP experience
• Inventory management systems experience
  
• Excel proficiency (intermediate level preferred)
  
• Forklift operating experience
  
• Warehouse/storeroom experience supporting maintenance operations

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

Pay Rate

• $19 - $23.50  per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
