We are recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers UK legal directories in a number of fields.Our busy property team provides a bespoke conveyancing service across England and Wales tailored to meet our clients’ needs.We have a large and expanding team of skilled and respected property lawyers who pride themselves on their level of service, combining a traditional personal approach with speed and efficiency using the latest technology. A significant amount of work is received through recommendations from clients.What you’ll be doingWe are now seeking a paralegal who can support the team in delivering this excellent service. The successful candidate will provide professional, proactive support to the team enabling them to remain organised and to work efficiently and effectively.You will be providing legal support to a Partner and Associate Solicitor in the Rural Property section of the team working for a wide variety of clients with both administrative tasks and pre/post completion work on property transactions.Your standard responsibilities will include opening files and client on-boarding, using the firm’s IT systems and packages, proof reading, dealing with emailed or telephone client enquires, document production, assisting with exchanges and completions, preparing and filing Stamp Duty Land tax returns, registrations of title and closing and archiving client files as well as assisting lawyers generally.This role is primarily office based but some flexible working may be possible following satisfactory induction and training.What we’re looking forYou will be very well organised and ambitious to achieve high standards. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and will be happy to adapt to the requirements of the tasks facing you. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and how you have used these in your previous positions.What you’ll havePrevious experience in a property role would be desirable but is not essential.
