Comfortable finding resources for patients. Good critical thinking skills. Good interpersonal skills. Must be a team player. Description: The Inpatient Care Manager will work with a multidisciplinary team and physicians. The role involves navigating various insurance plans. The manager will assist with facility initiatives. This position serves an underserved population, primarily adults and geriatrics. You will see complex cases, including unhoused and low-income patients. Typical caseload ranges from 14 to 20 patients. You will be assigned to a specific unit but may float to cover other units. The schedule will include a weekend rotation every 5th weekend. You will work Monday through Friday, with occasional late stays. If working on the weekend, you will have a Monday and Friday off afterward. Holiday expectations include working 50% of the holidays during the contract. Scrubs must be eggplant colored or business casual, with a white lab coat required.
