Sr Human Research Review AlstThe UNM HSC Human Research Protections Office is seeking a dynamic, goal-driven individual to join our team as a Senior Human Research Review Analyst. The Human Research Protections Office supports three UNM HSC Human Research Review Committees (HRRCs). The office promotes the safety and protection of individuals involved in human research by providing support, guidance, and education to facilitate ethical and scientifically sound research. The Senior Human Research Review Analyst is responsible for providing pre-review of human research protocol submissions for compliance with federal regulations and institutional policies prior to submission to the Human Research Review Committee (HRRC), which governs human subject's research at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. In addition, this position provides administrative support to the HRRCs and technical support and guidance to faculty, staff and students with respect to potential regulatory issues within research proposals. See the Position Description for additional information.Conditions of EmploymentMinimum Qualifications - High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences field Professional Certifications such as CIP, CRC Experience with/in: Preparing applications and other documents for submission to an Institutional Review Board (IRB) or direct experience in IRB Administration Utilizing an electronic IRB research administration system for managing IRB protocols Administering/coordinating biomedical human research Proficient with/in: Utilizing medical terminologyCampus - Health Sciences Center (HSC) - Albuquerque, NMDepartment - Human Research Protections (184B)Employment Type - StaffStaff Type - Regular - Full-TimeStatus - ExemptPay - Monthly: $3,841.07 - $5,148.00Benefits Eligible - This is a benefits eligible position.
