MRI Technologist

Working as a Mobile MRI unit from Rayus for the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. - Looking for 1/5/2026 Starts, unit will open up on 1/18/2026, but manager wants the clinician to help get things set up and up and running before hand since it's a brand new set up. - This will be open M-F for 12 hours a day, from 645am-715pm - 1 MRI Tech for 3 shifts/week and 1 MRI Tech for 2 shifts/week. Department: Radiology - MRI General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements - ARRT or ARMRIT plus WV MRI license How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 1 Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Brain, Spine, MRA, Body (Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest), MSK (Long Bone, Joints, etc.). Experience or 'Must have' skills: Physician Communication and working as lone technologist Average # of scans/studies per day: 14 EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use : EPIC and Fuji PACS Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Siemens Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Yes Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No Radiologist in-house?: Yes Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department): Yes Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): No blocked or self-scheduling Weekend Requirements: No Holiday Requirements: No Call or Standby requirement?: No Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?
