Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Circulator)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the circulating nurse during a wide range of surgical procedures including general elective and critical or life-saving surgeries
• Monitor the surgical procedure and the patient's health and safety throughout the entire operation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians to support a high-functioning surgical team
• Assist with orthopedic procedures including hip, joint, and knee surgeries
• Support a surgical department performing a high volume of surgical and endoscopy procedures annually

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an Operating Room setting
• Experience with hip, joint, and knee surgical procedures
• Active Michigan RN State License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with advanced surgical techniques and evolving OR technologies
