The Opportunity:Tech2 Solutions (T2S), a Tetra Tech–Sealaska Joint Venture, is a critical subcontractor to N3B Los Alamos LLC, providing program management and technical services in support of the Groundwater and Surface Water Monitoring Program at the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). The program supports environmental monitoring, regulatory compliance, and groundwater and surface water investigations associated with the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract (LLCC). You can learn more about the Los Alamos Surface Water Program here: T2S is a full-service engineering and environmental consulting company with a worldwide reach in the areas of environmental monitoring and remediation, national security, systems engineering, data management and analytics for both federal and commercial customers.T2S is adding an experienced Water Programs Engineering Team Lead to support the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract for the U.S. Department of Energy Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office. The Water Program includes surface water monitoring and corrective actions, groundwater monitoring, and environmental well drilling. Discover your full potential – join us to advance your career while leaving a lasting legacy.Your Role:Duties/Responsibilities:Lead engineering team (civil and environmental engineers), including supervisory responsibilitiesProvide support to surface water monitoring, groundwater monitoring, drilling, and environmental remediation project teams, and coordinate with managers to prioritize workAct as the primary interface with internal and external clients for engineering supportServe as the primary point of contact with client engineering services to ensure projects are performed to appropriate standards and procedures and meet or exceed expectationsMaintain survey equipment, AutoCAD licenses, and ensure access to ArcGIS ProSupport the surface water project manager with definition, planning, cost, and execution of NPDES Individual Permit corrective action projects, including both self-performed and subcontracted construction projectsEnsure team compliance with all policies and proceduresRegularly report on team deliverable progressPerform additional duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to use AutoCAD and Civil 3DAbility to manage team members’ project work and prioritiesAbility to perform complex tasks with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills and ability to meet established objectivesEffective communication, mathematical, computer, and reasoning skills required to perform job functionsAbility to work in a team-oriented project environmentFamiliarity with Los Alamos National Laboratory and work environment preferredEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure requiredCareer level will be determined based on years of relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilitiesMust possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.Must be a U.S Citizen.Life at Tetra Tech:The perks of working at Tetra Tech include:Comprehensive and market-competitive benefits.
