About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: 2+ years of experience required License: South Carolina license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process) required Must-Have: Cath Lab Experience Proficiency in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor Description: This position is for a Cath Lab Tech. The shift is 4x10 hour days, typically from 07:00 to 17:30, but may vary based on procedure completion. Daily caseload varies with 4 to 5 labs run per day with 2-3 Cardiovascular Technologists per lab. The typical case load is around 20-25 cases per day. On-call requirements include one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per 7 weeks, along with an evening shift every week. Holidays may be required as needed. The traveler will not float between service lines. There may be opportunities for block scheduling, subject to manager approval based on unit needs. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors can be assigned to emergency response teams. It is essential for travelers to comply with required protocols before the proposed start date to ensure readiness for the position. Service and support will be provided within an acute care hospital environment. Candidates must hold the required certifications and demonstrate the necessary skills and experience for successful performance in the role.
