Job Description

Mercyhealth System Freeport Illinois is currently seeking board certified/board eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our excellent team of collaborating Physicians throughout the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin Region.

Opportunity:

• Established orthopedic practice that has room to grow
• Collaborative team including surgical nurse navigators, ambulatory care nurses, and physician rehabilitation team

Qualifications:

• Primary focus on upper extremities
• MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Residency Trained from an AGGME accredited program.
• The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team.
• Have a passion to make lives better.
• Skilled at providing exceptional care.

Compensation & Benefits:
Mercyhealth offers a highly competitive initial salary guarantee (based on MGMA guidelines) leading to a production-based model after the first year, along with an outstanding benefits package:

• Range $598k-$800k
• Paid CME, malpractice, and licensure
