Senior Financial Analyst

A high-growth, acquisitive company in the energy sector is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to its corporate finance team. This is a broad FP&A opportunity with exposure to senior leadership, operations, investors, and M&A.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting, KPI analysis, cash forecasting, financial modeling, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly financial analysis, including budget and prior-period variance and trend analysis
• Partner with Operations to monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve financial performance
• Support monthly and quarterly board and investor reporting
• Coordinate weekly cash forecasting in partnership with Treasury
• Lead key pieces of the annual budgeting process across a multi-location organization
• Maintain and enhance forecasting models and financial dashboards
• Support acquisition analysis, including scenario modeling, DCF/IRR calculations, purchase price analysis, and deal funding structures
• Build and optimize dashboards using Power BI or similar BI platforms
• Assist with special projects and occasional travel to operating locations and acquisition targets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of Finance or Accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills with an interest in continuing to develop advanced capabilities
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another enterprise BI platform
• Experience building dashboards, complex measures, and transforming data for analysis
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and partner across different areas of the business
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Exposure to Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similar cloud data platforms is a plus
