Seaview Orthopaedic & Medical Associates is seeking a dedicated Medical Coordinator to join our team in Brick, Barnegat, & Toms River NJ. As a leading medical practice with over 40 years of experience, we specialize in a comprehensive range of orthopedic services, including joint replacement, sports medicine, pediatrics, pain management, physical therapy, and acupuncture. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons and doctors who are committed to delivering quality care to patients across Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean Counties. Available locations also include Barnegat, Ocean Twp, Freehold, Monroe, East Brunswick.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Welcomes patients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Checking In/Out of all patients, Answering of phones
• Responding to Actions, Incoming Documents, Emails, and Voice mail in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information.
• Updating of physician’s schedules three days in advance plus add on’s.
• Obtaining and entry of all patient referrals.
• Obtain revenue by collecting and recording patient copays and account balances.
• Scheduling/Rescheduling of all new and follow up appointments.
• Completion of patient/insurance disability forms.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the patient waiting area.
• Assisting in other areas of the clinical department if needed.
• Process requests for records to outside physicians and patients.
• File laboratory documents, X-rays, Diagnostic reports, and any other information into patient charts.
• Insure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements, Maintain strict confidentiality of all medical records.
• Ability to travel between offices as needed.
• Available for overtime needs.
• Assist with other daily functions within the department, Other duties as assigned by Management

Required Skills:

• Multi-provider scheduling experience.
• Ability to multi-task, Well-organized.
• Knowledge of EMR, (eClinical Works a plus) Microsoft Word and Excel.
