Ready to stop working for someone else's dream and start building your own? Farmers Insurance is looking for highly motivated, energetic candidates who want to step up and open a Retail Agency in Chattanooga, TN.
You do not need prior insurance experience or a long business résumé to qualify. We are looking for self-starters who have a fierce work ethic and the hunger to win. As a Retail Agency Owner, you get the strength of a Fortune 500 brand behind you while retaining full ownership of your business.
Simply put, you will not find another company that supports the path to agency ownership the way we do. You will work directly with our District staff, receiving personalized mentorship, business planning assistance, and operational backing from day one. We make entering agency ownership accessible by providing free study materials with no contract required and comprehensive training to help launch your agency. If you bring the motivation, our District team will give you the tools and unmatched backing to build a long-term enterprise in Chattanooga.
Responsibilities
Open Grow an Agency: Set up and manage a retail office servicing the greater Chattanooga market alongside District support.
Build a Winning Team: Recruit, mentor, and motivate sales producers to meet and exceed production targets.
Drive Business Outreach : Utilize community networking and marketing tools to generate new client opportunities.
Consultative Selling: Help families and business owners protect their assets across Personal, Commercial, and Life lines.
Manage Operations: Track sales metrics, oversee daily office workflows, and focus on long-term client retention.
Requirements
Hunger for Success : Self-motivated, competitive attitude with a passion for setting and achieving big goals.
Open to All Backgrounds: Prior sales, hospitality, service, or customer-facing background is helpful, but AMBITION is the main focus.
Licensing: Willingness to obtain Tennessee PC and Life Health insurance licenses (All study materials provided at 100% NO COST—NO contract required).
Standard Qualifications: Ability to pass standard insurance industry background and financial checks.
Communication Skills: Confident, engaging personality with a desire to connect with people.
