Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week | Day Shift with 1–2 Evenings Until 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients, including 60-minute eval and treatment sessions, and develops individualized treatment plans with goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge
• Documents all patient care in a clear, concise, and timely manner in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, and letters of medical necessity
• Delegates and directs discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
• Designs functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities for patients, families, and caregivers
• Participates in student clinical programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adheres to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Demonstrated competency in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
• Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and state practice acts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting
• Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives in a clinical environment
