Personal Lines Account Executive - HNW/VIP Property and Casualty Insurance Industry NYC, Long Island & CT A dynamic and enthusiastic person is sought to manage, sell, and foster connections with third-party administrators. Ideal candidates should have experience with high-end VIP clients in New York, covering areas such as auto, homeowners, yachts, fine art, antique vehicles, and private aircraft. Responsibilities encompass providing service, seeking new opportunities, and marketing for both new and renewing clients. This includes drafting applications and proposals, communicating with clients and carriers, assessing carrier quotes, and engaging in special projects. Proactive relationship-building with carrier and client contacts is essential. The role also involves assisting in the preparation of requests for proposals for relevant insurance carriers and organizing results as they arrive. Additionally, support will be provided in creating initial drafts for renewal presentations, alongside the account management team in evaluating proposals and ensuring the accuracy of carrier documents in cooperation with the Account Executive or Advisor/Client Executive, as well as addressing client billing inquiries. A Property & Casualty license is necessary. A minimum of five years of experience with firms such as Chubb, AIG, Cincinnati, ACE, Fireman’s Fund, and PURE is required. The candidate must be ready to contribute immediately. A Bachelor’s Degree is essential. Familiarity with Applied and/or EPIC is a plus. The individual must be adept at interacting with diverse individuals and handling tasks effectively in both collaborative and independent settings. A strong customer orientation is crucial for building and sustaining productive relationships. The ability to prioritize several tasks to meet timelines is important. Candidates should have robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with a keen eye for detail, decision-making acumen, and problem-resolution skills. Moreover, adaptability and flexibility in response to changing priorities, deadlines, and technological advancements are necessary.
