Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT-CT certification for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Rotating 12-hour day shifts (8:30 AM-9:00 PM, 9:00 AM-9:30 PM, or 10:00 AM-10:30 PM) on a 6-week schedule pattern
• Every third weekend required
• Adult acute care and outpatient settings
• Performs CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, and spine with and without contrast
• Handles musculoskeletal trauma, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic imaging
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating to other units or sister facilities

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• ARRT-CT and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media
• Experience starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted
• Pending state license accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• One RTO request allowed, must be approved prior to assignment
• Travelers must separate for a minimum of 90 days after 1 year before returning to the facility as a traveler
• Former perm employees must be separated for a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Should expect to work some holidays and weekends
• Floating to sister facilities not required
