JOB DESCRIPTION

Role & Responsibilities:
• Lead, train, and mentor inventory control team members to support an effective, collaborative environment.
• Assign and assist daily tasks and monitor progress to meet inventory objectives efficiently and accurately.
• Oversee the successful resolution of all shipping and receiving related tasks (including but not limited to invoice
reconciliation, incorrect or incomplete transfer orders) in partnership with the Inventory Control Supervisor.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate company goals, process changes, and expectations.
• Oversee all inventory-related transactions including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping.
• Attend high level meetings to discuss inventory improvements, challenges and changes
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available for production or sales requirements.
• Coordinate and carry out regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; review and escalate discrepancies.
• Maintain and update inventory records in warehouse management or ERP systems, including Identify BOM
disconnects and create structures of reporting for them
• Create or oversee the creation and implementation of CYC calendars
• Implement and adhere to inventory control procedures and policies.
• Identify and apply inventory management best practices to improve accuracy, reduce shrinkage, and optimize
space utilization.
• Analyze the root causes of inventory errors and develop plans for corrective action.
• Work with IT and Operations teams to enhance inventory tracking reporting.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to align inventory with operational needs.
• Communicate inventory concerns, shortages, or quality issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in operation initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to track accuracy, identify trends, and forecast needs.
• Report key inventory metrics (such as turns, shrinkage, accuracy rates, and valuation to Inventory Manager)
regularly.
• Ensure all inventory practices comply with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Support safety practices by enforcing proper handling and storage procedures.
• Any other assigned tasks and duties determined by the Inventory Supervisor.

Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate/bachelor's in supply chain, business, or related field preferred)
• 2+ years' experience in inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain management
• Proficiency with inventory systems (WMS, ERP, Business Central) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
• Effective communication and ability to work in diverse teams
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work in warehouse environments
• Flexible availability for different shifts, weekends, and overtime
