Repair Value Stream Technician

Location: Lanham, MD 20706
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Overtime as needed
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Duration: 6 months, possible extension/conversion
Interview: Onsite with Hiring Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an Electronics/RF Technician to repair, troubleshoot, program, and test two-way radio communication equipment supporting U.S. Federal Government customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot, upgrade, and program two-way radios.
• Perform RF/electronic testing using DVMs, Service Monitors, and Watt Meters .
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform functional testing.
• Document repair activities, serial numbers, and test results.
• Perform quality checks and prepare equipment for shipment.
• Follow established repair procedures and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in EE/EET, Electronics , or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of electronics/RF or radio repair experience.
• Hands-on experience with two-way radios, RF communications, and electronic troubleshooting .
• Experience with radio programming/upgrades and test equipment.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs .
• Strong documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite .
• U.S. Citizen required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred

• Radio depot repair experience.
• Motorola Solutions or similar radio experience.
• Cell phone, laptop, or computer repair experience.
• Networking/computer hardware knowledge.

Ideal Candidate: Electronics/RF Technician with strong hands-on experience in two-way radio repair, programming, RF troubleshooting, and electronic testing.
