Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in Hayward, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by managing the flow of materials and products. If you’re someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining organization and efficiency, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and products.
- Move materials to designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stock audits.
- Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
