Job Description Security Officer - Site Patrol in Tempe, AZ – you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Wed: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Fri: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare-related location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify access as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with visitor questions, and following post orders related to patrol duties, incident response, and daily operations. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
