Quality Technician 2nd Shift

Overview We\'re partnering with our client, a manufacturing company specializing in machined metals, to find a dedicated Quality Technician 2nd Shift. This opportunity is based on-site and is classified as Temp to Perm. Join a team that values quality compliance and collaborative efforts in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Perform floor audits alongside production staff to verify adherence to quality standards and accurate documentation. Examine products utilizing various measuring devices, including gauges, coordinate measuring machines, scales, oscilloscopes, and vision systems prior to shipment. Carry out calibration of measuring tools and conduct inspections of incoming raw materials. Lead internal audits to verify conformity with ISO9001:2015 standards. Oversee final and dock audits of products prior to delivery to customers. Qualifications At least one year of experience in quality control within a machined metals manufacturing environment. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfort working on the shop floor alongside production machinists. Attention to detail with a thorough approach; CMM experience and programming skills are advantageous but not required.
