Job Title

Surgical Oncology RN – MIU

Location

Cleveland, OH

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Unit setting with a focus on surgical oncology patients
• Monitor and assess patients requiring step-down and telemetry-level care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Document patient assessments, care delivery, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in oncology nursing
• Experience in step-down or progressive care settings
• Experience in surgical nursing
• Telemetry monitoring competency

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Intensive Unit (MIU) environment
• Familiarity with post-surgical oncology patient populations
