Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local&travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - MaineHealth.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:Nursery experience, including participation on the resuscitation team.Experience attending high-risk deliveries.Adult ICU experience.Experience treating pediatric patients in the ER, including intubation and mechanical ventilation.Experience with Drager V500 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, neopuff, and Ram cannula.
Preferred Skills/Experience:NICU and PICU experience preferred.
Special Requests:Travel pairs are not accepted.
Unit Details:Provides respiratory care across adult ICU, ER, Level 1 nursery, and med-surg floors.
Shift&Scheduling:No call.
Floating Requirements:RT floats to all areas of the hospital, caring for newborn through adult patients.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver's license required for submission

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
