We are looking for an experienced In House Counsel to join a growing organization in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role will handle a broad range of litigation matters, provide practical legal guidance to business leaders, and partner closely with internal teams to protect the company’s commercial and brand interests. The position is well suited for an attorney who is comfortable managing outside counsel, balancing competing priorities, and contributing to both dispute resolution and transactional support.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee a varied portfolio of disputes involving commercial litigation, landlord-tenant conflicts, eviction proceedings, and collection efforts following judgment.
• Assist with trademark and brand protection matters by assessing legal exposure, preparing enforcement correspondence, and contributing to case planning.
• Engage and direct external law firms, monitor their work closely, and keep leadership and business stakeholders informed on developments and recommended next steps.
• Lead coordination of discovery activities, document collection, and case preparation while serving as the key connection between internal teams and outside counsel.
• Work across departments to obtain records, organize supporting materials, and reinforce proper internal practices for documenting counterfeit-related complaints and evidence.
• Advise executives and business partners on legal issues in a timely manner while staying current on applicable laws and regulatory developments.
• Support corporate legal work by assisting with due diligence reviews, legal research, and contract-related matters as requested by senior counsel.
• Help shape litigation strategy by evaluating business objectives, potential outcomes, and cost considerations across active matters.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

• Active attorney license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; Ohio admission is preferred.

• At least 2 years of litigation experience, with 2–5 years strongly aligned to this position.

• Background in commercial disputes, with preference for experience in commercial landlord-tenant matters, post-judgment collections, or intellectual property cases.
