Essential Functions and Key Tasks Cascade a spirit of hospitality in all dealings with residents, colleagues and guests. Lead service of food or beverages to residents and prepare or serve specialty diets and dishes as required. Engage with residents to obtain desired orders for food or beverages while articulating daily menu offerings. Explain menu items, ingredients and cooking methods. Ensure residents are satisfied; communicate issues to supervisor. Check residents' diets, likes & dislikes to ensure requirements are met. Assist with set‑up and breakdown of scheduled meal periods. Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware and linens. Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, tidying service stations, clearing tables and taking out trash. Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils or other cooking equipment as needed. Assist culinary staff at stations as directed. Provide excellent customer service: attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Environment The Guest Experience Ambassador operates in a kitchen environment where employees may be exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise and may use equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, coffee machines, steamers, mixers and chef’s knives. Physical Demands May be required to sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, pull and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. May need to stand for long periods. Requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and ability to follow instructions. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food service.
