Role Description The Parts Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kendall, FL. This position is responsible for assisting service technicians and retail customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts, both in person and over the phone. Daily tasks include looking up parts in catalogs or systems, preparing and processing parts orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and organizing stock for easy access. The Parts Specialist will verify incoming shipments, monitor inventory levels, process returns, and ensure parts are labeled and stored properly. This role also involves handling customer inquiries, providing clear information on availability and pricing, and supporting the service department to ensure efficient repair workflows. Qualifications Customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to support both internal and external customers professionally. Inventory-related skills, such as Inventory Management and Inventory Control, to accurately track, organize, and reconcile parts stock. Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, technicians, vendors, and team members. Basic automotive parts knowledge and the ability to read parts catalogs or electronic parts systems. Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities for handling orders, invoices, and stock records. Comfort using dealership or inventory management software and standard office applications. Ability to stand, lift, and move parts in a warehouse or storeroom environment as needed. Previous experience in automotive parts or a related retail/warehouse role preferred.
