Part Time Lecturer - School of Nursing (Fall River, MA) About the Opportunity The School of Nursing, Fall River campus, is seeking part-time faculty to teach theoretical courses including didactic and skills laboratory courses in the following areas: Adult Medical/Surgical, Public Community Health, Maternal Child/Women's Health, Pediatrics, and Psychiatric/Mental Health. Part-time instructor positions are available as determined by the department's curricular and institutional needs. Responsibilities Prepare lectures, course materials, examinations, and evaluate student performance in the course. Teach courses in Adult Medical/Surgical, Public Community Health, Maternal Child/Women's Health, Pediatrics, and Psychiatric/Mental Health. Work under the direction of the lead faculty for the course and hold office hours as appropriate. Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing. Minimum of two years of relevant professional nursing experience within the last five years. Competence appropriate to teaching responsibilities. Current Massachusetts RN license. Previous teaching experience highly desirable. Significant career accomplishments within subject area and college teaching experience in a large, diverse, higher education institution.
