Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology Job Type: Full‑Time | Days Schedule: Shift | 8 Hours About the Role The Interventional Radiology (IR) team delivers minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures aimed at improving patient outcomes. As an RN in this team, you will provide direct patient care, collaborate closely with radiologists and technologists, and advocate for patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Plan and administer care interventions, including medications, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assist patients with activities of daily living: personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support. Assess learning needs of patients and families, providing education appropriate to age, culture, and condition. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred. Current Arizona or Compact state RN license (active). Boxed Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 1 year of hire.
