The General Manager here leads every aspect of a complex, high-performing operation and has the full backing of Swickard's organizational infrastructure to sustain and grow what's been built.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the full dealership operation -- owning P&L performance across new vehicle, certified pre-owned, finance, service, and parts

• Develop and hold accountable a senior leadership team across variable and fixed ops -- setting the standard, coaching to it, and building the bench that sustains long-term performance

• Set and sustain a culture of operational excellence, genuine hospitality, and consistent accountability -- the standard you model is the standard the store delivers

• Drive variable operations performance -- overseeing inventory strategy, pricing, digital retail, CRM discipline, and sales team development for a high-net-worth downtown SF buyer base

• Own fixed ops performance -- supporting service and parts leadership to maximize absorption, CSI, and technician productivity across a technically sophisticated JLR platform

• Manage the JLR OEM relationship -- maintaining brand standards, certification compliance, and CSI/NPS benchmarks for one of Land Rover's most prominent US stores

• Partner with Swickard's operational leadership on financial reporting, strategic planning, and continued market growth

• Recruit, develop, and retain the talent that defines the store's culture and drives its long-term performance

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of General Manager experience at a franchised dealership -- required

• Land Rover, Jaguar, or luxury brand GM experience strongly preferred -- JLR platform knowledge, brand standards, and the operational complexity of a downtown urban luxury store are meaningful advantages

• Full P&L ownership experience with demonstrated performance across both variable and fixed ops at a high-volume luxury store

• Demonstrates a high HQ (Hospitality Quotient) -- kindness and optimism, intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity

• A leadership approach built on clarity, high standards, and genuine investment in the people you lead

• Deep understanding of high-net-worth luxury buyer expectations and the competitive San Francisco automotive market

• Experience managing the operational complexity of a high-volume urban luxury store -- parking, logistics, urban service operations, and the demands of a downtown San Francisco location
