This position is primarily responsible for providing general restorative care to patients staying at the recovery suites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core duties and responsibilities including the following:

• Provide patients with routine restorative care to serve to increase strength and mobility
• Assist patients with exercise (Active/Passive Range of Motion) to improve or maintain mobility and independence following joint replacement surgery
• Observe body alignment of all patients in bed and chairs especially those using various positioning devices or padding and perform adjustments/corrections, as necessary.
• Ambulates patients as assigned while utilizing appropriate equipment or devices in a safe manner.
• Encourages the patients to perform restorative tasks independently as designed in the plan of care.
• Notifies RN of any incidents or reassessments needed.
