Job Title: Production Worker - 1st Shift

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker in our sandblasting and metal finishing department. This is a 1st shift role with steady work.

Responsibilities

• Perform bead-blasting operations inside an enclosed booth.
• Properly wear and care for the required blast suit, respirator, and other PPE.
• Grind, deburr, blend, and polish stainless-steel parts and welds to meet Grote’s quality and sanitary-finish standards.
• Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect completed parts and communicate any quality, material, or equipment concerns.
• Handle and protect finished components to prevent damage or contamination.
• Complete required production and ERP transactions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, as authorized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gahanna, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
