CNC MachinistThis role involves operating CNC machinery and woodworking equipment to fabricate precision components based on CAD, Revit drawings, and production specifications. The position is responsible for preparing materials, setting up and running machines, and ensuring finished products meet exact quality and dimensional standards through inspection and measurement. The ideal individual has strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and the ability to read tape measures and interpret drawings while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. This person is self-driven, collaborative, and adaptable, with the ability to solve problems quickly and contribute effectively to team-based project completion.High School Diploma or GED required; technical training, carpentry experience, or related manufacturing experience preferred.2+ years of machine operation experienceExperience machining materials such as wood, foam, and plastics.Willing to learn CNC machine operation.Experience troubleshooting machines.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications.Basic CNC programming knowledge preferred.Forklift experience preferred, with the ability to safely handle and move materials while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety.Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm useCapable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hoursComfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequentlyAbility to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazardsWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.This profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task.
