2026 CDE Summer Clinic Internship Applications for the 2026 CDE Summer Clinic internship are open with a final deadline of April 24, 2026 . Interviews will occur in May with decisions by Memorial Day. The Center for Digital Engagement (CDE) is offering a part-time, 10 hour per week paid internship in digital. The rate will be $20/hour . The internship lasts 9 weeks starting Monday, June 8 and finishing August 7. As an intern, you will work in teams of two with start-up companies in Ann Arbor SPARK’s high-tech business incubator. In addition to the paid part of the internship, you will obtain individual certification on an approved digital platform (for example, Google Analytics). Finally, you will attend a weekly seminar session related to your work. These activities are part of a mentoring program to prepare you for entering the digital workforce. Internship meetings will be hybrid , both in-person in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area and online. All higher ed students and recent graduates (graduated within 18 months) currently in or originally from Michigan are welcome to apply. We have had successful interns from a variety of regional and national institutions, including EMU, WCC, UM, MSU, WMU, CMU, Schoolcraft, Dartmouth College, and Columbia University, among others. The key elements of the application are the statement of purpose and resume. Please take time to carefully review these items as everything you submit is taken into consideration.
